Map and Directions
Directions to Athens from various locations can be found at http://www.uga.edu/visit/directions.html.
- Once you reach Athens, follow the Athens Perimeter Bypass (GA 10 Loop), then
- If you are traveling east on the Perimeter Bypass (from Atlanta) turn left at College Station Road;
- if you are traveling west on the bypass (from South Carolina or from the Athens-Ben Epps airport) turn right at College Station Road.
- Follow College Station Road about a half mile to East Campus Road (the first signal light intersection after the railroad tracks) and turn right.
- Drive north about .4 miles on East Campus Road.
- Turn left at the signal light onto Carlton Street and drive about .4 miles until the road dead-ends at Lumpkin Street.
- Turn right at the light onto Lumpkin Street.
- Take the first right (Green Street) to park in the South Campus Parking Deck (next to the Georgia Center for Continuing Education).

- After parking, walk out of the east side of the parking deck to Sanford Drive, then turn left to walk north one block to Soule Street (immediately after the Marine Sciences building).
- Turn right on Soule Street and walk east until the street ends at D.W. Brooks Drive.
- Turn left and walk north a half block. The first building on your left is Boyd Graduate Studies Research Center.
- The Boyd Grad Studies building is located in section 3C of this campus map.
- The Office of the Vice President for Research is on the sixth floor.
