The Bioexpression & Fermentation Facility provides state of the art equipment and wide-ranging expertise in biotechnical applications to University students and staff and to industrial clients. Their goal is to provide an array of services from gene isolation/synthesis through expression and from cell culture through protein purification. They utilize diverse expression vectors, hosts and leading edge protein purification and analytical equipment to meet varied research needs.

The Bioexpression & Fermentation Facility has a comprehensive range of fermentors and considerable experience in culturing a range of micro-organisms under conventional and specialized conditions.

Client confidentiality is a high priority and clients are welcome to visit the BFF before and during projects. The BFF has a high percentage of repeat customers with several projects having been commercialized or transferred to cGMP manufacturing facilities.

The BFF provides professional and prompt service in all of the core fields of expertise and welcomes difficult and custom projects.
