Robert Armstrong

As a well-known physiologist and biochemist, Robert Amstrong studies
the effects of exercise on muscles in tremendous detail. Specifically,
he investigates metabolism and blood flow in muscles, as well as
their injury, soreness and healing. In addition to producing a large
number of publications, Armstrong has served as an associate editor
and on the editorial board of Medicine and Science in Sports
and Exercise and on the editorial board of the Journal
of Applied Physiology.
