Lamar Dodd Award
The chemical communication of arthropods has served as the subject
of Murray Blum’s work. As a leader in the field, he has delivered
the Founder’s Memorial Address at an entomological Society
of America annual meeting. His book, Chemical Defenses of
Arthropods, focuses on a broad picture of arthropod communication
by examination of his work on venom and pheromones.
