Gene H. Brody
Research Professor of Child and Family Development
William A. Owens Award
Gene Brody’s research focuses on how family
dynamics shape child and adolescent development by family dynamics
is the focus. A fellow in the UGA Institute for Behavioral Research,
he received a creative research medal from the University in 1988.
Brody’s work is significant in the establishment of community
prevention programs in underprivileged neighborhoods.
