He has served as editor-in-chief of the Journal of Employee Assistance
Research, headquartered at the University. Romans research
and service to an assortment of national groups, including the Directors
Task Force for the Sixth Annual Report to Congress on Alcohol and
Health, influenced the growth of Employment Assistance Programs.
