How do I submit a Class Project Exemption form for student research?

Course Instructors who assign human subjects related class projects may request and receive an research exemption from the Human Subjects Office. Instructors are responsible for reviewing and approving Student Applications for Class Projects and for retaining the paperwork for a period of one academic year.

* These applications are only for the use of the instructors – the IRB does not review them.

Students should complete the application and submit it to the course instructor
