Internal Awards Receipt & Management

  1. Notification: You will receive an award letter via email stating the outcome of your nomination.
  2. Claiming Award:
    1. If you were awarded for a Creative Research Medal, Creative Research Award or Robert C. Anderson Award, you will receive your award at the upcoming Annual UGARF Research Awards Banquet, usually in March.
    2. If you were awarded for the James L. Carmon Scholarship, you will receive your funds before the Annual UGARF Research Awards Banquet, typically in the fall that you were nominated. You will receive a certificate at the banquet. Your award letter will contain the details of the award.
    3. If you were awarded a Distinguished Research Professorship, please contact Teresa Thomason in OVPR's Accounting Division to establish procedures for your award. You will receive a certificate at the banquet.
