The Russell Sage Foundation is an operating foundation directly involved in the conduct and dissemination of social science research in the following areas: Future of Work; Immigration; Cultural Contact; and Social Inequality. The Foundation mainly provides support for analyzing data and writing up results, but occasionally considers larger awards for data acquisition projects.
