Abstract:

The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) solicits Research Project Grant (R01) applications from qualified researchers to investigate the biology of the lymphatic system and potential new therapeutic implications. The purpose of this program announcement is to stimulate research on the biology of the lymphatic system at all biologic levels: molecular, cellular, tissue, organ, and whole body levels. Further, it includes research on innovations for identifying and intervening in lymphatic diseases across all age groups and disease states.
