Abstract:

This Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA), issued by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), National Institutes of Health (NIH), encourages Exploratory/Developmental (R21) grant applications from institutions/organizations that use innovative approaches to research: behavioral and pharmacological treatment for alcohol use disorders; organizational, financial, and management factors that facilitate or inhibit the delivery of services for alcohol use disorders; and/or the phenomenon of recovery from alcohol use disorders.

Applicants may submit more than one application, provided each application is scientifically distinct.
