Abstract: |
The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) seeks proposals for research to support development of vaccines, vaccine technologies, therapeutics, immunotherapeutics, adjuvants and medical diagnostics for NIAID Category A, B, and C priority pathogens and toxins.
Research may include, but is not limited to: target identification and/or validation; adaptation of platform technologies or products to biodefense applications; development of broad spectrum platforms and/or production technologies; optimization of products; process development; preclinical evaluation; scale-up; and production of quantities sufficient for preclinical regulatory requirements. Applications that include collaborations between researchers from different disciplines and/or with industry are strongly encouraged. |
