The Ethel Louise Armstrong (ELA) Foundation, Inc. scholarship is for any woman with a physical disability who is enrolled in graduate program - a masters degree or above - in any subject area at an accredited college or university in the United States. Applicants must also be active in a local, state, or national disability organization - either in person or electronically - which is providing services and/or advocacy for people with disabilities. The ELA Foundation uses the definition of disability as it is outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Awards range from $500 to $2,000.
