Abstract: |
Autism Speaks invites applications from young scientists interested in pursuing careers in autism research. The proposed research must be scientifically linked to autism and may be broadened to include training in a closely related contextual area of research. The types of projects that will be funded are pilot research projects to stimulate new research in this area; augmentation or enhancement awards to expand on-going large-scale research projects which will leverage existing research efforts; and funding for workshops or think tanks to stimulate the implementation of novel approaches in the field. The applicant investigator must be a qualified pre/postdoctoral student.
